Process :
Once an alert has been registered on the platform, the people authorized to handle alerts on the platform confidentially verify the facts reported, in order to determine whether the alert is admissible and to make an informed decision on the action to be taken.
The author of the alert will be kept informed of its progress via an anonymous online discussion forum. This area also provides an opportunity for clarification and exchange with case managers. Information concerning access to this area should be carefully stored in a secure location.
Processing times are as follows:
- 7 days to acknowledge receipt of report
- 90 days to treat it
Data retention: If the allegations contained in the alert are inaccurate or the alert has become irrelevant, the alert will be closed. The author of the alert will be informed in writing that the file has been closed.
